Photographs

These photos were all taken with small, medium, and large format film cameras and Kodachrome.  I loved using fine mechanical camerasr: Linhof, Hasselblad, and Leica cameras I used over the years were, in and of themselves, works of art.  Fine film cameras were always a sensual pleasure to use when I could afford them …but the fortunate reality of photo image quality is that the camera body is a black box to keep extraneous light from exposing the film.  Some images displayed here were taken with a basic $120 Calumet view camera (a “black box)” and Schneider-Kreuznach lenses.
