Thank You for Your Service, Mr. President!
I have been among your critics due to my certainty that a second Trump presidency would spell the end of our democratic republic.
Both my maternal and paternal families lived in the colonies sometime before 1610, making me a 17th generation American — naturally my concerns about the Orange Bloviator (a relative immigrant) and his Russian wife (an import) are paramount. This has been driving my opposition to your re-election, but today, you reminded me of what service to our country actually looks like. You promised to be a bridge back to normalcy; and, one way or another, you kept that promise, sir.
Men whose opinions I respect are comparing you to Cincinnatus, and I heartily concur. I am also reminded of the lessons learned from George Washington’s presidency.
I am only one voter, but Mr. Biden will always be spoken of respectfully in my home, and in my presence.
